Duarte Schmidt Lino at the reputed Brazilian Law Firm TOZZINIFREIRE for a three months “secondement”

Duarte Schmidt Lino, PLMJ Senior Associate with the Firm’s Corporate Practice and a member of its Capital Markets team, shall be in Brazil, from April to June, at the reputed Brazilian law firm TozziniFreire Advogados, with main offices in S.Paulo, PLMJ’s Partner Firm in Brazil.

Duarte Schmidt Lino’s secondement in Brasil aims to promote the Partnership between the two Firms, to acknowledge and experience TozziniFreire’s legal practice and, at the same time, the creation of bonds with Brazilian companies willing to invest in Portugal, Angola and Mozambique and Portuguese companies with interests in Brazil or wanting to invest in this country.

Duarte Schmidt Lino shall be with in Brasil TozziniFreire’s, Corporate /SJK, DTJ team.

PLMJ, within the same program for an exchange of experiences and knowledge between the Lawyers of both law firms, had already hosted Vera Kanas, TozziniFreire Senior Associate with this Firm’s Corporate Law Practice in 2008, who during a 3 months stay in our Lisbon offices had very fruitful experience for both Partners.

Our Partnership more recently has been strengthened with the implementation of a “Brazilian desk” in PLMJ and a “Portuguese desk” in TOZZINIFREIRE, both including lawyers with a vast experience in the conception and execution of transactions between the two countries.
