NEW LABOUR CODE. The 75 major changes regarding the labor market

PLMJ Labour Law Department in a partnership with the reputed economics newspaper”Dario Económico” jointly analysed the Project of Law for the revision of the portuguese Labour Code which was recently sent by the Government to the Parliament for approval.

PLMJ Equity Partner and Coordinator of the Firm’s Labour practice, Abel Mesquita, and Equity Partner Luis Pais Antunes, former Secretary of State for Labour Affairs responsible for the version of the Code to be submitted to alterations, give us their opinion on this Law Proposal.

A team of PLMJ Lawyers coordinated by Partner Tiago Cortes and composed by Partners Luis Sobral, Nuno Guedes Vaz, Filipe Azóia, Associates Cláudia Varela, Eduardo Nogueira Pinto, Nuno Morgado, Joaquim Torres, Marta Silva, Eliana Bernardo and Marco Ramalheiro, identified and analysed the major changes introduced by the present Project of Law to the former version of the Code.
