Nuno Líbano Monteiro joins the Drafting Commission for the New Cape Verde Insolvency and Company Recovery Code

Nuno Líbano Monteiro, a partner in PLMJ, coordinator of the litigation area and head of insolvency and restructuring, has been invited to join the Drafting Commission for the New Cape Verde Insolvency Code. This commission has already prepared a preliminary report that has been handed over to the Cape Verde government.

PLMJ’s partner will work on the drafting of the New Cape Verde Insolvency Code together with our joint-venture office there. As well as being involved in the drafting of the project, our partners will also be involved in meetings with government authorities, discussions and debates in several cities in Cape Verde.
