PLMJ considered the top brand in legal services in Portugal by Top Law Firm Brand survey

The PLMJ brand was considered the best recognised in the Portuguese legal market according to a survey carried out by leading legal publication Iberian Lawyer, which has published its ranking of the 10 best known brands in the legal market in Portugal and Spain.

This study revealed that PLMJ is the brand most easily recognised by stakeholders and the first one to come to the minds of those surveyed. Stakeholders who answered the survey associate PLMJ with a good reputation in the market and the ability to advise on major deals and disputes, and this assessment was based on the firm's track record and its consolidated experience. The survey was based on the replies of 60 leading general counsel in companies in Portugal and Spain who are members of the Iberian Lawyer In-House and Compliance Club.

To have a strong brand means, first and foremost, recognition of the excellent work we have been doing over almost 50 years. The PLMJ brand received the highest number of votes from the in-house lawyers who responded to the survey. Behind PLMJ were the law firms Vieira de Almeida (VdA) and Morais Leitão (MLGTS), in second and third place respectively.
