In line with its on-going policy of specialisation, PLMJ has now announced its most recent independent specialist team dedicated 100% to venture capital / private equity work. Leading the newly independent team is PLMJ partner, Duarte Schmidt Lino.

In creating this independent team, PLMJ guarantees greater specialisation in the services provided to clients in terms of legal advice on private equity and venture capital activities. This work covers, among others, the structuring of funds and other investment vehicles, advising on regulatory matters and M&A operations, restructuring, financing and mezzanine debt issues (using hybrid debt and equity products), both in Portugal and internationally.
