PLMJ in “World Trade Mark Review"

Manuel Lopes Rocha, a partner in PLMJ and leader of the firm’s intellectual property team and Tiago Assunção, currently a trainee lawyer in the same area, authored PLMJ’s contribution to the online version of “World Trade Mark Review Daily” which appeared on 16 November.

The contribution, which was included in the “Updates” section, describes the litigation in the Portuguese courts between the holders of the pharmaceutical trademarks OGASTO and LANZOGASTO. This litigation culminated in the recent judgment of the Lisbon appeal court which found that the two products in question were not susceptible to confusion.
