PLMJ shortlisted for the "Portugal Tax Firm of the Year" and "European tax Innovator of the Year" prizes

PLMJ’s tax team is among the candidates for the titles of "National Tax Firm of the Year" and "European Tax Innovator of the Year", to be awarded by International Tax Review. Partner João Magalhães Ramalho heads up PLMJ’s tax practice which also includes partner Nuno da Cunha Barnabé and an excellent team of lawyers. The tax practice was considered for the "National Tax Firm of the Year" in 2006 and 2008, and now returns to the list of candidates as a strong contender for the award. For the first time, it is also among the finalists for the "European Tax Innovator of the Year" award. PLMJ is the only Portuguese law firm shortlisted for the prize. The prestigious international publication assesses the size, innovation and complexity of transactions in respect of which lawyers and tax experts from across Europe have provided advice. PLMJ is the only 100% Portuguese firm on the list of finalists. The results will be disclosed in May at a ceremony in London.
