PLMJ senior associate André Figueiredo’s private law doctoral thesis has just been published by legal publisher Almedina. André works in the firms banking and finance practice and his thesis was discussed in public at the law faculty of Universidade Nova de Lisboa. The thesis addresses the problems of whether fiduciary transactions can have any legal effect on third parties by specifically applying the theme to the area of management of securities.
