Fashion law debated in seminar today at the Alfândega do Porto

PLMJ, the Textile and Clothing Association of Portugal (ATP) and the Selectiva Moda Association are promoting a seminar this afternoon on fashion law. This initiative forms part of Modtíssimo, an event taking place today and tomorrow at the Alfândega do Porto. André Bertrand, a lawyer and professor of the University of Paris I, who is considered to be one of the world’s foremost experts in intellectual property, will be the main speaker at the seminar and will be accompanied by Manuel Lopes Rocha, Cláudia Trabuco and Rita Sáragga Leal, all from PLMJ. António Braz Costa director-general of the Portuguese Textile and Clothing Industries’ Technological Centre, Paulo Vaz, director-general of the Textile and Clothing Association of Portugal, the designer Anabela Baldaque and Pedro Silva, chairman of the board of Ricon Industrial - Produção de Vestuário, S.A. are the other participants.
