PLMJ advised Explorer Investments on the sale of 100% of the share capital of Micronipol to Veolia Portugal. Micronipol is a Portuguese company engaged in the micronisation and recycling of polymers and the sale includes Micronipol's subsidiary, Microexpresso - Unipessoal Lda, a road haulage company.
The PLMJ team was led by partner Tomás Almeida Ribeiro and included associate Carolina Inverno Branco and trainee Martinho Paour, all from the Corporate M&A practice.
This transaction is the result of the strategy implemented at Micronipol since Explorer Investments joined the company in 2021 and represents the first divestment by Fund IV.
