PLMJ managing partner Luís Pais Antunes to speak at Legal Week Independent Law Firms Forum 2016
15/03/2016PLMJ managing partner Luís Pais Antunes will be one of the speakers at the Independent Law Firms Forum 2016, an event organised by the specialist British publication Legal Week. The forum will be held in London on 17 March.
Luís Pais Antunes will be a member of the panel addressing the topic “Transitioning Markets - growing pains?”. It will discuss emerging markets, including Africa, with a particular focus on Angola and Mozambique, two countries where PLMJ has a presence through the firms GLA – Gabinete Legal Angola and TTA in Mozambique. PLMJ’s managing partner will talk about the main opportunities and challenges of these markets, from the points of view of both law firms and investor clients.Legal Week holds this event every year and its aim is to debate the principle challenges that face international law firms and to make participants aware of new internationalisation models and best legal practices.
