PLMJ supports and takes part in the salons on intellectual property organised by the INPI.

The Intellectual Property Business Congress 2012 will take place in June in Cascais, and in preparation for the meeting, the INPI (National Institute for Industrial Property) is organising salons for discussion which are open to the public to debate the latest issues in IP. PLMJ is supporting these salons and partner Manuel Lopes Rocha, from PLMJ’s TMT practice, took part in the debate on the

Intellectual Property Court

in May. Two more meetings will take place in November. There will be a debate on the application of the transposition of the enforcement directive on 3 November in Lisboa and, on 29 November in Oporto, a debate on the defence of trademark rights: criminal proceedings and mediation.
