Speaking to Global Competition Review, Ricardo Oliveira comments on the new leniency programme

Ricardo Oliveira, a partner from PLMJ’s competition practice, has spoken to Global Competition Review (GCR), about the new rules of the leniency programme announced by the Portuguese Competition Authority. The legislation establishes the legal rules for cancelling or reducing fines in competition infringement proceedings. According to Ricardo Oliveira, "the new leniency programme may represent an important step forward in the fight against cartels".
