The newspaper Público, following the condemnation of Google by an american court to reveal the identification of the You Tube’s users to Viacom (the owner of MTV and Comedy Channels, among others), invited PLMJ Equity Partner heading the Firm’s IP, Trademarks and Patents team work and a specialist in computer law, Manuel Lopes Rocha to give his opinion on the matter specially in what “online” privacy might be affected.
But for Manuel Lopes Rocha, there is no cause for great concern for american courts are cautious and will not allow privacy to be in danger.
