Alexandre Mestre, a PLMJ senior associate who specialises in sports law, took part in the Sports Law Days organised by
Universidade Lusíada. One of the topics under discussion was the possible creation of a court of arbitration for sports and, speaking to the newspaper
Diário Económico, Alexandre Mestre regretted “the four lost years” in which no progress had been made towards establishing such a court and he hopes the new government will may a decision on the issue.
