Nuno Brito Lopes, a partner from the PLMJ’s corporate and M&A team, attended another “Barclays Awards – Leaders in Internationalisation” conference, that was covered by the newspaper Jornal de Negócios. According to this specialist in international trade and exports, before going ahead with the process of internationalisation, companies should establish whether or not they have the scale to play a role in the market they wish to enter and, if they do not, Brito Lopes recommends they study their options for merger, acquisition or an alliance with another company.
