Bruno Ferreira has written an opinion piece for Observador on the importance of debating the role of companies in the future of society and the planet. The PLMJ managing partner stresses that corporate responsibility and sustainability should be approached without recourse to partisan or ideological motivations.

For the PLMJ partner, "the future of society is usually thought of in terms of the outcome of political events, elections, state budgets, etc.". However, "there is a danger to our future that is gradually developing and whose effects we are beginning to feel more and more: the danger posed by climate change", and from this point of view it is essential to "debate the role of companies in the climate crisis, as well as the broader role of companies in society".

The article is part of an initiative to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the newspaper Observador, which invited 52 experts from different fields to reflect on the future of society.

In this context, PLMJ's Managing Partner was invited to join the 'Club of 52', and in this opinion article he makes his contribution on the importance of thinking about the next decade.
