CONFERENCE OF PLMJ’S NATIONAL NETWORK OF PARTNERS – Insolvencies: Current Problems and Future Prospects

On the occasion of the 2nd anniversary of PLMJ’s National Network of Joint Ventures, its first national conference will take place in the Azores on 5 November. The conference is organised by local law firm Borges da Ponte, Linhares Dias & Associados in partnership with Norma-Açores and the support of the PLMJ network.

The theme which is on the agenda for the conference is “Insolvencies: Current Problems and Future Prospects” which is a topic of interest to people doing business throughout the country.

Featured as speakers at the conference are lawyers from the firms which are members of PLMJ’s National Network of Joint Ventures : Tomás Pessanha, coordinating partner of PLMJ’s Oporto office, Victor Borges da Ponte and Paulo Linhares Dias (Borges da Ponte, Linhares Dias & Associados – The Azores), Miguel Pereira Monteiro (Manuel Rebanda, Pereira Monteiro & Associados – Coimbra), Luís Loureiro (Luís Loureiro, João Gomes & Associados – Viseu) and Gonçalo Lobo Xavier (Gama Lobo Xavier, Luís Teixeira e Melo & Associados – Guimarães). These lawyers will debate the current problems and prospects for the future for insolvencies in Portugal.

The conference will take place on 5 November in the room Atlântico 2 of the Hotel Marina Atlântico, São Miguel in the Azores.
