08/11/2006

PLMJ – A.M. Pereira, Sáragga Leal, Oliveira Martins, Júdice e Associados, in its quality as Portuguese member of World Services Group (WSG), shall organize the Annual Meeting of Law Firms which are part of this organization between 2 and 4 November at the Hotel Miragem in Cascais.

WSG is the largest organization of independent Law Firms in the world, with currently over 150 independent Law Firms and circa 15 000 individual members.

The Law Firms associated within WSG are, as a rule, among the largest and most respected independent Law Firms of their respective jurisdictions. WSG’s objective is to enhance the provision by its members of high quality specialized legal services to their respective Clients through the creation of a network of Law Firms with global coverage.

This network of independent Law Firms is the form chosen by the firms concerned to respond to the growing demands and internationalization of their Clients and to guarantee assistance to said Clients and the quality of the legal services provided in any part of the world.

In a particularly important year for WSG, in which this association has asserted itself as the largest association of independent Law Firms in the world and secured the participation of leading firms in further jurisdictions, the Annual Meeting’s main objective shall be the development of relationships between the members with a view to the ever more integrated provision of legal services to the Clients, as well as the presentation of Portugal as the ideal entry gate for companies wishing to invest in Europe.
