The newspaper Diário Económico has highlighted and more the investment by Fundo SC1 FCR (managed by Menlo Capital) in the share capital of the company O Parque, whose majority shareholder had, until now, been Bárbara Beck de Lancastre.
The team from the M&A /private equity practice was led by PLMJ partner Bárbara Godinho Correia working with senior associate Teresa Madeira Afonso and associate Pedro Gaspar da Silva. These three lawyers advised Bárbara Beck de Lancastre and the other original shareholders of the company O Parque, on the contractual negotiations and completion of the deal.
The project 'O Parque Bilingual Schools' was set up in 2002 by Bárbara Beck de Lancastre, and now boasts four colleges: O Parque – Tagus Park, which is sponsored by Millenium BCP, and three others that are open to the public: O Parque Belém, O Parque Restelo and O Parque Cascais.
