Iberian Lawyer highlights the performance of PLMJ's Corporate M&A practice area

PLMJ's corporate M&A team is in the spotlight in the April edition of the magazine Iberian Lawyer.

Diogo Perestrelo and Duarte Schmidt Lino, the partners who head PLMJ's corporate M&A team, are on the cover of the prestigious publication, and the article highlights the fact that PLMJ ended 2021 at the top of the M&A rankings with 43 high-profile transactions worth a total of EUR 6 billion.

Iberian Lawyer speaks to these two partners and concludes that PLMJ's impressive figures are the result of the firm's strategy and the course it has followed in this area: "a strong and restructured team, which is clearly delivering good results".

As for the sector, although restructuring and refinancing prevail among M&A deals, PLMJ's lawyers believe there are reasons for optimism.
