João Marques Mendes, a partner in the Public Law practice, who focus on energy and natural resources, is moderator of one of the panels at the Energyear Portugal 2021 conference. The future of the Portuguese renewable energy market will be debated by specialists, business leaders and government officials dedicated to the energy sector. João is moderating the panel on "Optimisation and organisation of PPAs in the Portuguese market".
Inês Pinto da Costa, a partner in the Corporate M&A practice, who focuses on projects and infrastructure, is also taking part in the conference. She will attend the debates that will analyse the projections set out in the "2030 National Energy and Climate Plan" (PNEC). Also up for debate will be the investments planned for the energy area that aim to double production from alternative resources.
