Luis Sáragga Leal receives award for his career in corporate law

This week, Luis Sáragga Leal, PLMJ founder and honorary partner, has been received the Corporate Law Career Award from the Association of Portuguese Law Firms (ASAP).

The ASAP partners unanimously decided to publicly recognise the career of one of PLMJ's founders for his more than 50 years of legal practice in Portugal.

The tribute was announced during the ASAP's 11th National Meeting which took place at the CCB, in Lisbon.

Luis is a senior partner in the Corporate M&A area and throughout his legal career he has been handled some of the most important operations in Portugal and abroad. He specialises in international transactions, capital markets, mergers and acquisitions and foreign investment. He also advises on cross-border transactions and large-scale investment projects involving countries such as China, Angola, Mozambique and Portugal.

In 1998 he was one of the driving forces behind the PLMJ Foundation and to this day he remains involved as chairman of the foundation's board of directors.
