Miguel Amado, curator of the PLMJ Foundation wins Unsolicited Proposal Program 2011.

The curator of the PLMJ Foundation, Miguel Amado won the 2011 Unsolicited Proposal Program prize given by the New York Centre for Contemporary Art. This is the leading international prize for commissioners and, in this year’s edition, the proposal presented by Miguel Amado came first out of 557 candidates coming from 50 cities in the USA and 61 other countries. The project of commissioner Miguel Amado, entitled "The Walls That Divide Us" deals with contemporary geopolitics in analysing the worldwide proliferation of geographical divisions and its effects on daily life.
