01/10/2007

Last Monday, the 24th of September, took place another Ceremony to celebrate PLMJ ’s Fortieth Anniversary.

With the presence of the PLMJ Founding Partners and practically all persons working for the Firm, the First Founding Partner, António Maria Pereira, unveiled the sculpture which from that day onwards stands and ennobles the Entrance Hall of A. M Pereira, Sáragga Leal , Oliveira Martins, Júdice and Associates, the site specific sculpture was ordered by PLMJ Foundation.

The work, from João Pedro Vale, known in Portugal and abroad to be one of the most talented Portuguese sculptors of the new generation, was specially commissioned by the PLMJ Foundation and curated by Miguel Amado for the occasion.

It constitutes a piece of art where materials like wood, iron and salt, have been rigorously chosen and marvelously worked in an assemblage of iconographic elements representing Justice and other constant values of the portuguese History and Culture.
