PLMJ Foundation Art Collection at the Smithsonian Institute’s Freer Gallery of Art

In New York at the Smithsonian Institute’s Freer Gallery took  place recently, the exhibition “Encompassing Globe” one of the greatest exhibitions ever  dedicated to Portugal  focusing  the cultural relations between our country  and other  peoples on the sequence of the portuguese overseas navigations.

Within the scope of this event  the past the 16th of September and, under the comissariate of Miguel Amado, a video session of portuguese authors, the “Portugal in Motion”, integrated by the PLMJ Foundation Video Art Collection was shown to the public.

Before the session, which was attended by our Prime Minister, the Minister of  Foreign  Affairs, the Minister of Culture and the Portuguese Ambassador to Washington  among other  portuguese invidualities,  Miguel Amado made made a short  introduction to the  PLMJ Foundation cultural activity  to which the Exibition Organization Committee responded  with their thanks  to the Foundation for its participation in the event and  the contribution to the  international development of this particular and updated form of art.
