The PLMJ Foundation , instituted under the theme “A law Firm and a space for culture” promotes in Lisbon, the exhibition entitled“Point of View:Works from the Collection of the PLMJ Foundation”.
Following other projects dedicated to the photography and video segments the Foundation, this time in a partner ship with the “Lisbon City Museum”, promotes an exhibition centered not in a specific form of art but in a temporal “arch” gathering, for the first time, works from various means of art expression by artists who started or gained visibility between the early eighties and the end of the nineties.
Among the artists whose works are to be exhibited we may point out Julião Sarmento, Pedro Calapez, Ângela Ferreira, João Louro, Joana Vasconcelos and João Pedro Vale.
The exhibition besides giving an overview of the artistic trends during the referred period is also representative of the PLMJ Foundation’s “mission” to divulge contemporary artistic creation.
Commissioned by Miguel Amado, the event shall be inaugurated next Tuesday, the 18th of March, from 19 to 11pm, at the “Lisbon City Museum’s White Pavilion, located at Campo Grande nº 245 in Lisbon and shall last until the 18th of May.
