PLMJ Promotes Networking Lunch Together With Iberian Lawyer and the Press Institute at the IBA Conference

PLMJ promoted a networking event between the leading international law firms on the occasion of the annual meeting of the IBA in Madrid. The event was presented in association with the magazine Iberian Lawyer and the Law Faculty of the prestigious business school Instituto de Empresa (IE).

The event opened with a roundtable on “New pressures, common objectives, - The relationships between companies’ in-house lawyers and law firms, how can they work more closely?” The roundtable featured Beat Hess, General Counsel member of the Group Committee, Royal Dutch Shell PLC, Jean-Claude _ajar, Senior Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer, GE Commercial Finance, José María de Areilza, Dean, IE Law School, Luis de Carlos, Co-Managing Partner, Uría Menéndez, Rui Mayer, General Counsel, Galp and Wim Dejonghe, Global Managing Partner, Allen & Overy. The event was followed by a networking lunch hosted by PLMJ.
