PLMJ has once again been shortlisted for the Portugal Tax Firm of the Year 2017 award in the 12th of the European Tax Awards.
The PLMJ Tax team headed by partner Nuno Cunha Barnabé has already won this award twice - in 2014 and 2016 - and its appearance on the shortlist this year once again demonstrates its leading position in tax law in Portugal and in Portuguese-speaking African countries.
PLMJ Tax now has 15 lawyers and is the most senior and experienced team in the market. The team includes four partners, Nuno Cunha Barnabé, João Magalhães Ramalho, Serena Cabrita Neto and Miguel C. Reis, and a managing associate, João Velez de Lima, together with six senior associates and two associates.
Founded in 2005, the aim of the European Tax Awards is to recognise the international leaders in the area of tax law who stand out each year for the complexity and innovation of cases they handle. The awards ceremony will take place in London on 18 May.
