PLMJ - Tozzini Freire Conference in Lisbon

The past 19^th of September took place, in Lisbon, at the PLMJ Auditorium, one more of the joint Conferences  organized by PLMJ and Tozzini Freire Advogados, the reputed Brazilian law firm with main offices in S. Paulo, with which PLMJ established a Partnership for specialized  services in Latin America.

The Conference, moderated  by Pedro Sáragga Leal, PLMJ Partner heading the firm’s Real Estate, Construction and Tourism I Department, was dedicated to “Portugal- Brazil  Investment”  and counted with the participation of Lawyers from both law firms working in the Corporate, Investment, Real Estate and Tax fields.

Senior Partners Luis Sáragga Leal and José Luís de Salles Freire opened the Conference followed by the interventions of Vladimir Miranda Abreu,Tozzini Freire partner experienced in real estate businesses, on the theme “Structuring Foreign investments in Brazil: Relevant Issues to be Considered “ and Susana Cirera Soutelinho, PLMJ  Senior Associate, experienced in the tax area, on “Tax Legal Framing and Double Taxation”.

The session was closed by PLMJ’s President of the Board of Directors, Fernando Campos Ferreira and Darcy Teixeira Junior, Tozzini Freire’s Partner an expert in the Corporate-Investiment domain.

The conference was attended by PLMJ  Lawyers and Trainees, Clients and other potencial investors and entities connected with real estate investment
