PLMJ advised Kevel on the acquisition of Velocidi

PLMJ advised the US company Kevel, a leading platform for personalised adverts, on the purchase of the business of Velocidi Inc. Velocidi is also an American digital marketing company with Portuguese management and it will keep its technology centre in Porto.

The transaction was handled with the support of a multidisciplinary PLMJ team involving the areas of Technology, Media and Telecommunications, led by Pedro Lomba (head partner), Marta Salgado Areias (senior associate) from the same practice and Vasco Granate (associate) from the Intellectual Property practice. The Corporate M&A team included Filipe Avides Moreira (partner) and João Regadas (managing associate). From the Employment and Labour practice, José Pedro Anacoreta (partner) and in the Tax area, Dinis Tracana (coordinating associate) also contributed.

This operation involved the transfer of a commercial establishment in the United States and the group's Portuguese company, Shiftforward, S.A.
