PLMJ advises Fundo VIP on purchase of Continente in Alegro Montijo

PLMJ advised Fundo VIP, an open-ended real estate investment fund managed by SILVIP, on the purchase of a unit in the Alegro Montijo shopping centre, where the Sonae Group operates a Continente hypermarket. This purchase from the Ceetrus Group involved an investment of €33 million.

The PLMJ team was led by senior associate Luís Filipe Santiago Salema and included Catarina Patrício Cruz, an associate in the Real Estate and Tourism practice.

The property has a surface area of approximately 16,500 m2 and was completely refurbished in 2023. It will continue to be operated by Sonae Group brands.
