PLMJ advised LCN Capital Partners on the acquisition of the largest supermarket portfolio ever sold in Portugal - a portfolio of 49 properties, almost all of which are leased to the Pingo Doce distribution chain.
PLMJ's multidisciplinary team was led by Sofia Gomes da Costa, a partner in the Real Estate and Tourism practice, and included Sérgio Antunes Teixeira, Fernando Costal Carinhas, Mafalda Oliveira Cordeiro and Catarina Patrício Cruz from the same practice. Other members of the team were Benedita Lacerda and Ana Nunes da Silva ("Public Law") and Nuno Morgado Pereira and Tiago Basílio ("Banking and Finance").
This transaction is part of "Project Amália", which was launched in April last year and consolidates the position of LCN Capital Partners as the largest non-operator owner of supermarkets in Portugal and one of the largest at Iberian level.
