PLMJ advises Medialivre on the acquisition of radio stations SBSR and Rádio Festival from Música no Coração

PLMJ advised Medialivre S.A. on the acquisition of 100% of Sociedade Franco Portuguesa da Comunicação, S.A. and Rádio Festival do Norte, S.A. from Música no Coração - Sociedade Portuguesa de Entretenimento, Sociedade Unipessoal, Lda. All of these companies are active in the radio industry.

The PLMJ team was led by Tomás Almeida Ribeiro, a partner in the firm's Corporate M&A practice, and Rita Pereira Jardim, a senior associate in the same practice. They were joined by Pedro Lomba, the partner in charge of the firm's Technology, Media and Telecommunications practice, Rita Sousa Costa, an associate in the same practice, and Carolina Campos Dias, a senior associate in the Tax practice, among others.

With this acquisition, Medialivre also acquired the radio stations SBSR and Rádio Festival, which were owned by Sociedade Franco Portuguesa da Comunicação, S.A. and Rádio Festival do Norte, S.A., respectively. This operation is part of the Medialivre Group's growth strategy. The company is now present in all media sectors, with press, television, digital and radio in its portfolio.
