PLMJ advises on sale of Ferro Group business unit to Spain’s Esmalglass

PLMJ advised the Ferro Group on the sale for €460 million of its tile coating unit to the Spanish company Pigments Spain, S.L., a subsidiary of the Esmalglass-Itaca-Fritta Group, which is owned by Lone Star.

The Ferro Group earned revenues of €510 million in the period from September 2019 to September 2020. With this acquisition, Esmalgrass becomes the largest global playerin the sector and more than doubles its turnover.

The operation was handled by a multidisciplinary team of PLMJ lawyers with members from the following practice areas:
