PLMJ and Heidrick & Struggles organised a business breakfast on the structuring of variable remuneration for directors and the rules of the IRC (corporate income tax) code. The event took place at the Hotel Altis Belém and featured the presence of corporate leaders and other interested in the topic at hand. The panel of speakers included Magda Viçoso, a PLMJ senior associate from the banking and finance practice area who spoke about corporate governance, and tax practice area partner, João Magalhães Ramalho, who spoke about tax issues in the IRC and Tax Code. Pedro Rocha Matos and Mariana Branquinho da Fonseca, from Heidrick & Struggles debated the issue of compensation models.
