RRP Advogados, which I founded less than 10 years ago, has grown tremendously and we are very grateful to our clients who have given us ever greater challenges. The merger with PLMJ puts us in a better position to continue this growth in a firm with all the characteristics we were looking for: market positioning, internal culture and strategic business vision.I am very excited to join Francisco and Teresa in this new phase of PLMJ's real estate team."
The new PLMJ partner founded RRP Advogados, where he led the real estate and tax teams.
He has developed a large part of his practice in tax and real estate matters related to M&A transactions, private equity, corporate reorganisations, structured finance, tax litigation, cross-border insolvency, IP planning, pan-European real estate transactions, sale & leaseback transactions and triple net leases.
Prior to founding RRP Advogados, he spent 13 years at Linklaters, where he headed the real estate practice and was a senior member of the tax team.
He is a lecturer at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon, the author of academic articles and a regular speaker at national and international conferences.
