PLMJ has more nominations for the African Legal Awards than any other Portuguese law firm

PLMJ Colab has been nominated in five different categories in the 2019 edition of The African Legal Awards. They are: International Law Firm of the Year (PLMJ), African Network/Alliance of the Year (PLMJ Colab), African Law Firm of the Year - Small Practice (TTA - PLMJ Colab), Banking, Finance and Restructuring Team of the Year (BCSA - PLMJ Colab) and M&A Team of the Year (BCSA - PLMJ Colab). With a total of five, PLMJ has more nominations than any other Portuguese firm in what are the African legal awards with the greatest level of recognition.

PLMJ has provided legal advice jointly with BCSA in the operations now recognised by African Legal Awards and this confirms the strengthening of PLMJ’s presence in countries with cultural and strategic ties to Portugal.

The African Legal Awards – now in their 7th edition – are organised by the reputable British publication Legal Week and by the Corporate Counsel Association of South Africa.

The awards ceremony will take place on 6 September in Johannesburg, South Africa.
