PLMJ heads TTR’s rankings for Portugal

Transactional Track Record (TTR) has released its rankings for the third quarter of 2018.

PLMJ is Portuguese leader in legal advice on M&A operations and in private equity. The firm leads not only in terms of the volume and value of transactions it handled, but also in the number of specialist lawyers working in these areas.

Diogo Perestrelo, a partner from PLMJ Corporate M&A, led the advice in the purchase by Morgan Stanley and Fundo Horizon of MEO’s telecommunications towers, in what was considered the Deal of the Quarter by TTR.

PLMJ heads TTR’s tables of M&A and private equity operations in Portugal both in number of transactions and in value. The firm advised on a total of 20 transactions with an overall value of EUR 10.7 million euros in M&A, and 7 transactions totalling EUR 1.404 million in private equity.

On the list of Dealmakers, PLMJ has the highest number of lawyers in the ranking, with nearly half of the total number of lawyers in the ranking by value of transactions.
