PLMJ hosts Brazilian lawyer from the law firm TozziniFreire for 3 months

A senior associate from TozziniFreire, the largest law firm in Brazil and a part of PLMJ’s international joint venture network, today began a three-month secondment period with PLMJ.

Mariana Cobra is a real estate specialist and will join PLMJ’s real estate team.  Mariana’s stay with PLMJ is intended to strengthen the partnership with TozziniFreire and create links with Portuguese companies with interests in Brazil, Angola e Mozambique.

In addition to the exchange of lawyers, the joint venture between PLMJ e a TozziniFreire is now strengthened by the setting up of a Brazilian Desk in PLMJ and Portuguese Desk in TozziniFreire. Both desks are staffed by lawyers with extensive experience in the planning and execution of transactions involving both countries.
