PLMJ in the “European Lawyer”

The June edition of the European Lawyer dedicates one of its articles to the leadership and succession challenges for Europe’s law firms.

According to this article the transmission of powers and of Clients is an issue which worry the leading European Law firms.

PLMJ one the first Portuguese law firms to detain a retirement policy, together with some other law firms from the North, Center and South of Europe, invited to comment this fundamental issue.

 

 According to Fernando Campos Ferreira, PLMJ Managing Partner, the plan is to gradually concentrate PLMJ Senior Partners and Founders on the Firm’s management   skills leaving space to more recent partners to create new revenue. It is thus utilized the energy of the less experienced to aid the Client and the wisdom of the older to the Firm’s leadership.
