PLMJ is part of the winning consortium for the Strategic Environmental Assessment of Lisbon's new airport

COBA - Consultores de Engenharia e Ambiente (Engineering and Environmental Consultants) and the Spanish firm INECO are the winning consortium for the Strategic Environmental Assessment of the plan to expand the airport capacity in the Lisbon region. PLMJ is part of the team and is responsible for the project's legal area.

PLMJ Public Law partners Maria Zagallo and Diogo Duarte Campos are leading the legal advice for the winning consortium in a project that involves highly complex legal issues. Specifically, PLMJ will conduct a study on the alternatives for the location of the new airport.

PLMJ's multidisciplinary team includes lawyers from different areas and specialisations such as the environment, urban planning, European and competition law, and multiple public law issues such as the legal and contractual framework and legislative issues.

The strategic environmental assessment should be concluded in April 2023.
