PLMJ is the Big Winner at the ‘40 Under Forty Awards’ Night

Last night in Lisbon, Iberian Lawyer magazine presented the second edition of the ‘40 under Forty Awards’, choosing the 40 best lawyers under the age of 40 on the Iberian Peninsula.

PLMJ was the Portuguese law firm that won most prizes, with 3 partners receiving awards – João Magalhães Ramalho, Tiago Mendonça de Castro and Pedro Melo. They join Maria Castelos who received an award in the first edition.

The aim of this initiative is to recognise the talent of this new generation of lawyers which is helping to shape the future of the legal profession in Iberia. Above all the jury awards quality and involvement in major deals, but these lawyers are not defined by their excellence in the practice of law alone. They also play important roles in the management of PLMJ and have high profiles in the community at large through their involvement in sports and social responsibility and in the fields of politics and academics.
