Mariana França Gouveia, apartner in the Dispute Resolution practice , and Ana Coimbra Trigo, an associate in the same proactice, have written an article in Transnational Dispute Management on mediation in Lusophone African countries.
In this article, entitled "Mediation in Lusophone Africa: an Opportunity to Amplify Access to Justice", the experts examine the broad spectrum of mediation in access to justice. They address its characteristics and examples of state policy for international mediation, the legal framework for mediation in Angola and Mozambique, and initiatives to promote mediation in those countries.
