Manuel Lopes Rocha, the partner who heads the PLMJ Intellectual Property team, Rui Soares Pereira, PLMJ of counsel, and Ricardo Negrão, PLMJ’s Director of IT Systems PLMJ, have spoken to the newspaper Expresso about the firm’s plans to use artificial intelligence.
In September of this year, the firm will begin to use the new system based on artificial intelligence that will free up lawyers from many of the hours they spend on researching laws. Manuel Lopes Rocha, who is responsible for this project, hopes that in the second phase,the artificial intelligence system will also be able to produce legal documents automatically.
