PLMJ partner Luís Sáragga Leal invited to speak at the 1st edition of the China-Portugal E-Commerce Roundtable

Luís Sáragga Leal, a PLMJ founding partner and co-head of PLMJ International Projects, has been invited to speak at the 1st edition of the China-Portugal E-Commerce Roundtable, which will take place on 13 October at the Ministry of the Economy. This event is organised by the Digital Economy Association (ACEPI) and by the China International Engineering Consulting Corporation (CIECC). The aim of the event is to gather the people who run the two countries’ leading companies and organisations to debate and analyse the opportunities and challenges of cross-border e-commerce.

China is the favourite destination for investors from around the world, and Chinese companies give priority to Portugal’s geographical advantage and to a special ties with Portuguese-speaking countries and regions. In light of the current global economic situation and staying ahead of the game, PLMJ has increased its international presence and was the first Portuguese law firm to have a China Desk.
