PLMJ – Law Firm has just promoted five of its lawyers to the position of senior associate. For PLMJ managing partner, Luís Pais Antunes, “the promotion of these new senior associates is recognition of the professional and personal qualities, and merit of these lawyers. It also represents a heightened challenge to them to develop their client management and team leadership capacities, which will be increasingly put to the test in the defence of their clients’ interests.”
“These promotions are also a way for PLMJ, in line with its challenging and rigorous career progression policy, to renew the commitment it has made to valuing its lawyers and to achieving organic growth. These values are part of PLMJ’s DNA.”

With these promotions, PLMJ begins 2017 – the year in which it celebrates its 50th anniversary – with the new energy and dynamic it needs to face the challenges of maintaining its leading position in Portugal and the growing international status it has achieved, particularly in the Portuguese-speaking world.
PLMJ has strengthened its position as Portugal’s largest law firm, with a total of 290 lawyers, including 65 senior associates, and a presence in Portugal, Portuguese-speaking African and the main European markets.
