The PLMJ Network member firms GLA (Angola) and TTA (Mozambique) have received thirteen nominations in nine different categories for the 2018 African Legal Awards. PLMJ is the Portuguese firm with the highest number of nominations in this year’s edition.
PLMJ Network international partner Tomás Timbane, who heads TTA (Mozambique) and is also a member of PLMJ Arbitration, was recently re-appointed as a member of the International Court of Arbitration for another mandate and Bruno Xavier de Pina, the partner who heads the Angola Desk are, for the first time, both nominated in the Attorney of the Year (Partner) category.
These awards, now in their sixth edition, are organised by the prestigious British publication Legal Week and by the Corporate Counsel Association of South Africa.
