PLMJ rewards winner of the PLMJ/AMP 1st Edition Award

The PLMJ/António Maria Pereira Award Ceremony (also a tribute from PLMJ to its Founder) took place yesterday, the 7^th of November. This award  was instituted to promote legal investigation and to approach law students ant recently degreed lawyers to  law practice.

This year’s winner is Dr. Luis Vaz Bravo, a recently degreed Lawyer by the Oporto University Law School, who shall be attending, as part of the PLMJ Award, the Firm’s Legal Training Course at the  PLMJ Oporto Office and at Nokia Siemens Network Portugal.

The Jury decided to reward Luis Vaz Bravo, author of an essay on the theme “ Managing Directors’ General Duties and Business Judgement  Rule” for the excellent work, for the choice and originality of the theme ,for the ambition of treating an area of a great technical complexity, for the structure of the work, for  its critical development, for the investigation and effective quality of  the bibliography which was quoted.

The Jury is composed by Dr. António Osório de Castro, Professor António Pinto Monteiro, Dr. António Agostinho Homem, Dr. António Henriques Gaspar and by PLMJ  Partners Dr. Luís Sáragga Leal, Dr. José Luís da Cruz Vilaça and Professor Diogo Leite de Campos.

This initiative  has the privilege  to count both with Nokia Siemens Network Portugal’s sponsorship and the Conference by Eng. Picoito on Innovation and the Importance of Young people and Investigation to Enterprises.
