PLMJ sponsors Wavec Annual Seminar 2017 on Offshore Renewables

PLMJ is one of the sponsors of the Wavec Annual Seminar 2017 on offshore renewables. The theme of this seminar is the role that test and demonstration infrastructures on land and on sea play in attracting projects to Portugal. The seminar will also look at how these infrastructures make it possible to develop a national value chain which, naturally, includes research and development, services and industry components.

Manuel Santos Vítor, the partner who heads PLMJ M&A and Energy and Natural Resources, and Ana Oliveira Rocha, a managing associate from PLMJ Energy and Natural Resources, will be attending the event.

According to the organisers, "the discussion of this topic is particularly important and timely giving the preparation of a candidacy for the ESFRI (European Strategy Forum on Research Infrastructures) to create a network of infrastructures in the sector of marine renewable energies. The infrastructures that formed the ESFRI will have access to more favourable conditions to attract innovation, research and development."

The event will take place in Lisbon on 12 December (location to be announced).
